Hello! And welcome to Videoranch, my Neocities passion project (and digital archive of sorts) made in tribute to Michael Nesmith’s Videoranch! A website that as of now (2025) is no longer up and running due to complications with a former VR employee (you can find more about the whole ordeal here) and can only be accessed through the Wayback Machine. I am also using this site to sort of learn and play around with HTML. ( Because of this Videoranch probably looks no good on a phone screen… sorry! )

I tried to make this version of Videoranch as true to the Videoranch circa. 2005 as I could, while also including things from more recent versions of Videoranch that I have referenced through the Wayback Machine. However because it is not an official website obviously there are major differences and my own personal flair added.

As for the actual content/archival-ness of the site: Many videos from the original Videoranch site and youtube channel are not archived anywhere as far as I know! Also as of now, I am unsure how to incorporate VR3D into this site, therefore it is not here. Another thing that is kind of impossible to add to this site would be the Videoranch forum that existed by (I think) 2016 because unfortunately the majority of those forum posts haven't been archived either :-(

However, if you have any suggestions of things to add, issues you may be having with Videoranch, or general queries then feel free to see yourself to the Contact page! And shoot me a message in my Tumblr inbox, or in my Guestbook! :-)

My plans for this site are constantly being added to as I discover new Videoranch things and come up with new ideas. Im still working things out and trying to organize all these ideas into a something that works. Be patient with me! Im no professional.

Have fun exploring the world of Videoranch.
